2012年7月8号，卢台长应邀参与了由 “世界宗教联合大会”(Unity of Faiths) 在英国伦敦所举办的活动，担任荣誉嘉宾。该会为庆祝英女皇登基60周年的重点活动之一。为了表彰卢军宏台长数十年来以慈悲为怀，在世界各国大力弘扬佛法，以及为促进中西文化交流与社会和谐发展所作出的杰出贡献，“世界宗教联合大会”特别颁发“世界和平奖（佛教）” (World Peace Award (Buddhism))给卢军宏台长，该奖项由伦敦市副市长维多利亚‧柏維克(Victoria Borwick) 和英国国会议员亲自颁发。这也是本年度“世界宗教联合大会”颁发的唯一大奖。当天的颁奖典礼在伦敦的厄普顿广场隆重举行，现场四万多人参加。除了伦敦市副市长与英国国会议员外，“世界宗教联合大会”组委会成员、各国使领馆、各界政要、与各宗教团体领袖均到场祝贺 。英国各主流媒体作了报导，并且英国BBC电视台作了全程转播。该会也同时授予了卢台长 2012年“世界和平大使” (Ambassador for World Peace)的称号。
在2012年9月29日， 卢军宏台长应邀前往美国哈佛大学，主讲 “慈心慧命，佛法改变人生” 的课题，众多科学家与专家学者均慕名前去聆听。在2012年10月1日，卢军宏台长更获得英国国会上议院颁发的“英联邦民族社区特别贡献奖”(British Community Honours Awards) 殊荣。颁奖仪式在英国国会隆重举行，由英国皇室颁奖，是主流社会对英联邦民族社区的一个最高奖项。

About Master Lu
Master Jun Hong Lu is a well-known leader of the Chinese community in Sydney. For the past 20 years, he has been the President of Chinese radio stations, and is highly respected by Chinese listeners. Master Lu is also the President of the Australian Chinese Buddhist Research Centre, the President of community groups in the Australian Chinese communities, as well as the Vice President of the Australia Chinese People China Peaceful Reunification Association (CCPPA). He has a strong affiliation with his country of origin. For the past few decades, Master Lu has been contributing to world peace, and promoting the cultural exchange between Australia and China. Master Lu now has over 3000 disciples from Chinese and other cultural backgrounds. Amongst the disciples, there are entrepreneurs, public servants, scholars and professors, and others. There are also several dozen abbots and venerable masters from Buddhist monasteries who have become Master Lu’s students. During the trip to North America, Master Lu was praised by Venerable Kuan Hsien, the abbot from the Thousand Buddha Temple who is over 80 years of age, as a “true Living Buddha”. Dr Linda Barnes, a medical anthropologist and a scholar in the study of world religions, and an Associate Professor at the Boston University School of Medicine, is including materials of Master Lu’s Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door in related publications and in her course curriculum. The world-renowned specialist in HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases, Dr Stephen Hosea is also practising under Master Lu’s teachings. He is one of the administrators of the not-for-profit organisation in North America established for Guan Yin Citta. Other administrators of this not-for-profit organisation are professionals and scholars. There were also other world-renowned medical professionals and well-known members of parliament in New Zealand who dedicated themselves to volunteering at Master Lu’s grand Dharma functions.
